The Dressy Skort-to-Short

I bought this piece for cycling around town where I would cycle wearing the shorts and then put the wrap around skirt when I’m off the bike. This strategy has worked well the shorts are comfortable and stretchy enough and the skirt makes the shorts more dressy off the bike. I have just worn the shorts without the skirt and found them comfortable.

I was thrilled when Encircled announced a longer Bermuda style skort/short, as long shorts were a gap in my summer capsule wardrobe, and all the better since they can also be worn as a skort.
Design: I love the length of the skort. and Encircled’s signature multi-way garment designs. The two snaps to attach the skirt are similar to the snaps on the evolve top. The skirt stays in place well. However, when worn as shorts, one of the shiny metal snaps is visible, which might annoy some people. The pockets are generously sized - big enough for my phone. Only the right-side pocket is accessible when worn as a skort.
Fit: I ordered the same size as my dressy sweatpants (L) and one size up (XL). While both fit and looked good, the XL had more ease going over my hips, so I returned the smaller size. When I checked the size chart, it recommends XXL. This makes sense because except for leggings I usually size down one size from the size chart for Encircled.
My stats: 5’7”, 180 lbs, waist 36”, hips 43”

The skort is great! True to size and the fabric feels amazing. As with all Encircled products, it is very, very comfortable. I'm 5'3", 132 lbs and got the medium size.
