Sample Sale: The Everyday Twist Top

First off I love the quality fabric. It hangs so well in all the pieces of clothing I have purchased from Encircled. I love the details and the thought that have gone into these pieces and the fact that they all work so well together. I have been on a mission to simplify my wardrobe and it's amazingly easy to look put together and smart now. I have fewer pieces which are of much better quality, with a lot less stress plus I'm supporting a woman led, Canadian company. That ticks all of the boxes for me. Yay!

I own two Twist Tops (one in the black modal and one in the teal tencel). Pick the modal if you like a thinner almost shirt like material and the tencel if you like a thicker material that drapes well. I am 130 pounds 5'9 small frame and the extra small fits perfectly. I love all the ways you can wear the tops, and plan to purchase the gray tencel one as well at some point (I work in education, so I have to wait for sales and buy items piece by piece to build my collection). The only suggestion I have for this top is to make the buttons the same color as the fabric. It is difficult to wear it open cardigan style with the silver snaps as they show when you walk. I have altered the snaps myself on my black top using oil based exterior paint which I had on hand and carefully applying with a small craft brush. You could also use oil based paint markers to more easily achieve this effect. If the top came with buttons already customized to match the fabric that would be a big plus!

A great way to stretch your capsule wardrobe. This top is comfortable and allows you to dress up, down or completely change your look.

Super soft and versatile, the deep teal is just luscious. A new staple piece.

Fabric is soft and flowy. It travels brilliantly. You can wear it a bunch of different ways. I can’t say enough good things.
