The blazer. A closet essential that sometimes needs a bit of demystifying. We’re here to confirm that it really is as versatile as advertised! And just in case you won’t take our word for it, we teamed up with some of our fave ethical fashion bloggers to show you how they styled the Unblazer in their own unique ways. For work, the weekend, or casually, the Unblazer is well suited for all occasions.
Jeans and a white t-shirt can go a long way if you toss a blazer on top. Paired with small black booties, this outfit works for an array of occasions. Alisa switches it up between a ribbed and a plain t-shirt to add some texture, and also experiments with different denim washes for her jeans.
Emma effortlessly pairs the Unblazer with one of the trendiest colours of the moment: camel. The long camel jacket creates dimension at the hemline, and the oat coloured sweater and matching patent boots add a contrast that isn’t too stark. You could easily switch out the black denim pants for more elevated tapered trousers, or a casual comfy jogger-style pant or legging.
Marie Emily demonstrates with finesse how to pair a button down with the Unblazer in three ways. First, dressed down with a denim top and white sneakers for a great weekend or casual work-day look. Adding a pop of colour with a peach top makes this look more seasonal for spring/summer, as well as the Mary Jane clogs. Finally, a trusty crisp white top and pointy toe pumps is the perfect work uniform.
This outfit styled by Sonia is a masterclass in mixing patterns and adding your own personal flair to an otherwise simple outfit. The bold graphic t-shirt is a funky juxtaposition with the leopard print handbag. The textured ripped hem of the jeans also serves to dress down the more traditionally formal elements like the blazer and the patent loafers.
