The Luxe ShapeKnit Coatigan

I’m 5’10” and 190 lbs. I ordered the 2xl because I wanted it to be a bit oversized and it is perfection. The fabric feels amazing and I fully plan that it will be worn daily in cooler weather.

I went back and forth on ordering this coat for quite awhile, and snagged it in black during a promo and I really love it. The fabric is so nice, it’s comfortable like a cozy sweater, and drapes beautifully. I adore the lapels. While it feels like an oversized cardigan and fits a bit oversized but not sloppy, the lapels make it look so polished. I’m thinking of getting it in the gray as well, for a more casual look.

I have worn this a lot in the last couple weeks since it arrived. I wear it with the scarf-belt as a belt to keep it closed…it is heavy enough to wear as a coat for a good part of our Calgary shoulder seasons. I absolutely love the material, it is so soft and cozy and I love the look of it. I have a long torso, so I appreciate that there are no loops for the belt (as they are typically placed too high for me). I would highly recommend this coatigan and am going to get the gray as well. It does fit oversized but that’s the look, I went with my usual size.

I jumped at the Coatigan when I first saw it because my size is always sold out first. I bought gray but when I received it and tried it on it seemed too casual for when I plan on wearing it. I re-ordered in black and am very happy with everything about it.
