Torn between petite and regular sizing, I decided on the petite. I'm 5' 7", 140lbs, b35 x w28 x h35” and the length is perfect, falling an inch or two above my knee. I can easily fit into all designs with the exception of the wrap dress--my shoulders are a bit broader than average and I can bring the snaps together but not comfortably.
I find the snap quality to be very good. Because the snaps are hand sewn, I am careful to disconnect the snaps with my fingers at the connection point vs. pulling the fabric. I have worn the item and disconnected/reconnected the snaps many times this way and have no problems with the snaps coming undone to-date. Disconnect vs. pull and the snaps will last you a lifetime!
I was able to complete all the ways to wear with the booklet alone, though the advanced ways to wear (x-back halter, wrap dress, etc) took a few tries, however, I am a pro now! I’m not too savvy in this way, ladies, so if I can do this, I know you can too!
The material drapes beautifully, is light-to mid-weight, usable year round, and ultra soft. It’s travel friendly and packable--any wrinkles are easily removed with a few minutes of indirect shower steam!
I really like this garment! So much so that I asked my boyfriend to get me another (in a different color) for Christmas. Its hard to figure out some designs. I wish there was more detailed videos/tutorials. Also one of the snaps came undone after 1st use. I'm 4"10, curvy, so
I chose the petite size and I had PLENTY of fabric to play around with. :)
I like the material but I found for some style like cocoon cardigan, I feel I can't quite stretch my arms well as it is a bit tight. Other dress styles seems fine. It maybe the length of the material. I selected Small as all other styles in Encirled are Xsmall.
I wish there was an option to buy a slightly larger size that wasn't longer in length. The petite just fits me but an extra inch or two would probably be ideal but I would be hesitant to order the medium because I wouldn't want it any longer.
I wish you guys had a pop up shop events in different cities because i want so much but it is very hard to decide what to order first without knowing how things fit. If there was an event to try on different items then I know exactly what I want instead of staring at it daily for months.
I wore it as a dress, a scarf, and a cardigan all in one week. So versatile and fun!
