Immediately bought the second colour. I'm going to live in these. They're so soft and comfy for working from home but look great for going out also.

Balance in Bali

Balance in Bali

What is Balance?

I read a dailylove.com email from Mastin Kipp a while ago which had a great interpretation of balance.

Being a surfer, I was immediately drawn to it.

We often think of balance as neutralizing stress.

So, bringing life back into so-called harmony and minimizing the ups and downs of life.

But this, is counter-intuitive to the universe.

Life will ALWAYS have ups and downs, peaks and valleys. If it doesn't, really what kind of life are you living? Sounds kind of boring, no?

As Mastin refers to it... why not SURF the ups and downs of life, and learn to ride the waves of life instead of resisting them.

Otherwise, if you are just flat-lining your life... that wouldn't be any fun now, would it?

"The energy of life is harnessed by working WITH life, not against. By understanding and riding the waves instead of cursing them." - Mastin Kipp

I'm still in Bali, now in Canggu, about to head back out for another surf session. The trip so far has been amazing but also a test of my ability to navigate through the ups and downs of travels. Joys and sadness, health and sickness.

Wishing everyone a beautiful week wherever you are.

With love from Bali,
