Fantastic garment! I love that it is sustainably and ethically made (and for me, it's also locally made as an added bonus), all things that I am focusing on with any new clothing purchases. But beyond that, the design and fabric is just wonderful. Some of the styles have a bit of a learning curve, but once you get them the versatility of the Chrysalis is amazing! I've been wearing it is a scarf, wrap, cardigan and wrap dress the most so far (but its only been a few weeks!) I initially stumbled across encircled on a travel blog- and I am so excited to take this travelling with me, but it's also great as an everyday go-to.
As other have mentioned, I did pull half of a snap off by pulling at the garment instead of the snap, but it was an easy fix to re-secure it.
I love that I have so many options with this piece. I am looking forward to trying them all in the nicer weather to come! It means a lot to me to know that I have some pieces of clothing that will hopefully last me for the next decade of my life!
Okay, this garment is awesome and the only thing better is the customer service! I had a struggle with Canada Post with my package and Encircled did their best to help me at every step. I did eventually get my Cardi and I LOVE it! The snaps are a little fragile so I really suggest not tugging on the fabric to pull them apart. I decided to reinforce mine as the fabric is on the heavier side but the overall quality is fantastic. Styling it can be some work at first but it gets easier the more you practice. I love this piece and plan on getting more from Encircled because of their great, ethical, and quality products, and overall fantastic customer service. I can't thank them enough!
I love it and was able to do all the different options but you really need to find a better way to sew the snap button - I will have to sew them before I leave for my trip because they will not hold. I think the snap button are not the best option because they cannot be secure. If someone pull on it ...oops...
At first, I was frustrated. I had to call my mother for moral support as I attempted to navigate this seemingly simple piece of fabric and buttons. About 45 minutes later, some swear words and “that’s it, I give up!”’ I figured it out. Now, this is one of my favourite wardbrobe pieces. It is so soft and comfortable, it truly feels like I’ve got a lovely blanket wrapped around me. I can wear it to work, out for dinner, and plan on taking it with me backpacking this summer.
