The Chrysallis Cardi is beautiful! The piece has a lot of potential, especially for travel, but you need to be willing to put a little bit of work in to learn the different styles and practice them before heading out. For the first couple of years I owned it, I only used it as a dress because I hadn’t figured out the other options. However, now that I’m comfortable with the cardigan, wrap, scarf, jumper, and both dresses, it’s one of my fav travel pieces. It is especially helpful on trips where you are not sure about the weather you will encounter - I wore it as a dress on the beach and then used the scarf as a snook when it got chilly on a safari drive. The only issue I had was that one of the snaps started to come undone, so I had to sew it back on. Wasn’t hard.
It’s a bit of a challenge to get the snaps connected correctly but I’m going to keep practicing
Love the quality of the fabric. It was hard to figure out how to put it together, but once done I got many compliments on my look.
I got many compliments on this dress. The colour was so pretty and the dress draped beautifully. It was a great purchase!
Fantastic garment! I love that it is sustainably and ethically made (and for me, it's also locally made as an added bonus), all things that I am focusing on with any new clothing purchases. But beyond that, the design and fabric is just wonderful. Some of the styles have a bit of a learning curve, but once you get them the versatility of the Chrysalis is amazing! I've been wearing it is a scarf, wrap, cardigan and wrap dress the most so far (but its only been a few weeks!) I initially stumbled across encircled on a travel blog- and I am so excited to take this travelling with me, but it's also great as an everyday go-to.
As other have mentioned, I did pull half of a snap off by pulling at the garment instead of the snap, but it was an easy fix to re-secure it.
